Greetings everyone,
I am an uncle of two home schooled children who suffered horribly at the hands of their parents. They both ended up running away from home. One is 18, the other is 16. Both are currently living on their own. Doing what I can to help them pick up the pieces of their lives while they can still possibly recover. Have gotten the state agency responsible for children involved, but even with government help recovery is not going to be easy.
Question: Does anyone here know of any legal cases where children who were poorly home schooled sued their parents? Are there any organizations specializing in helping such children recover?

I don't think there have been any such cases yet, but I have a lawyer friend who believes there is a legal basis and would like to take such a case to court for a homeschool kid. You're welcome to PM me to discuss.
